Finally!

Every Sunday morning (ok...most Sunday mornings), J and I will walk down the street to Starbucks before we leave for church. This past weekend was no exception. We rolled out of bed, threw on our tennis shoes, got Cody and we were off. However, when we walked outside things felt different....it no longer felt like Dante's Inferno. It was actually cool!?! But it wasn't until we made it to our destination that I realized.....

FALL is HERE!
(Starbucks doesn't lie!)

And since I cannot stop thinking about fall decorations (or drinking Pumpkin Spice Lattes), I have decided to share some of my favorite autumn inspirations with you!

I love this!

I love shopping (and lets just say online shopping has opened up a whole new world of possibilities)! I realize I don't always wear the most fashionable outfits or sport the trendiest bags, but I love looking for them.  I believe I have what people refer to as "champagne taste on a beer budget!" So in lieu of going out and making all these purchases, I have decided to share some of my finds with you (and maybe you will go buy it so I don't have too)!

So on this beautiful September 24th, Our Southern Front Porch has now deemed Fridays as "I love this" Fridays!

Today, I would like to showcase two necklaces that have made my Christmas list (for a second year....last year the list was not circulated due to a certian wedding)!

I think I will just let Santa decide between the two!

Have a great weekend!

And on the 29th day, there was paint!

Yesterday, I came home to a little surprise!  When I left for work, my kitchen looked like this (granted it didn't look exactly like this when i left, but I have elected to use my literary license).........

When I returned, it looked like this........

which ultimately gets me one step closer to this..........

yeah yeah yeah....I know....still a long ways to go!

Before.....

After.....

Before.....

and after....

Before (adios dreadful lament).....                              After (and hello, gorgeous).....

and a little more after.....

Before.....

After.....

Before.....

and after.....

27 days down and (supposedly) 8 to go! I like what I am seeing.

I'm in Rue!

Last month, I was having my daily blog read when I came across a post regarding Rue Magazine.  For two weeks, I kept coming into contact with this "Rue" mania. All I knew about this publication was its premiere issue was scheduled to launch in September 2010 and it promised to be fabulous!

Well, I am happy to report that Rue went live today and after flipping the magazine several times, I have to say it is pretty fantastic!
This entirely online magazine is the perfect compilation of fashion and decor.  Think "In Style" meets "Elle Decor" meets "Style Watch" meets "Domino" (may she rest in peace!).

With 261 pages of inspiration, how could anyone not fall in love?

Oh how I love new treasures!
