Catching up.....Thanksgiving Weekend

Yes it has been a while!  So to round out 2011, how about a quick overview of the major holidays?

First on the list....Thanksgiving.

This year J and I traveled to the land of milk and honey to celebrate Turkey Day.  Yes, you got it...we went to lovely Birmingham.

We spent some time with new friends.  Like this new family member....Bailey.

and partied with our old friends!

 (I am telling you...we are real party animals!)

As long as everyone had some food the crowd was peaceful.....

but as soon as the fork was empty....

the crowd became a little hostile! 

All in all, we had one GREAT Thanksgiving!

Wild Wild West

We just returned from a long weekend trip to Arizona!

And let me tell you, this time of year is perfect!

Our quick visit was to help our dear friends celebrate their marriage!

And who doesn't love a good party?

The few hours leading up to her arrival were spent texting.....

making each other smile,

playing quarters (a very fun made up game for children under 5 and adults over 33) 

and finding each other's nose.

Speaking of changes....

I would like to show you our master bath!

It has gone through a few phases....

This is what we like to call phase 1 or pre-demolition.

Now we advance to phase 2, the actual demolition.
